President's Message from Anne Eller
Ladies of the Club,
The weather, while I’m writing this, just insists that Fall is
almost upon us. I hope you’re ready for it to come. Summer is
always too short for me.
Dianne Shafer has been hard at work preparing our budget for
next year. Be sure to look it over and be prepared to vote on it at
the September luncheon.
We are indebted to Barbara Watson for making new nametags for us — they are beautiful and we can all wear them with pride. Thank you, Barbara!!
It was inspiring to hear about what’s going on at Gateway
Elementary here in Woodland Park. Getting a good start and having
school be a priority is a definite advantage for children today.
Thanks to members who helped support this activity.
Enjoy and have a safe Labor Day.
